Background Code - Copy & Paste Form
The following textarea contains the background IMathAS code that is necessary for all e-proofs created by authors. A question with this IMathAS code should be public available for all authors of questions resp. instructors of a mathematical course.
- Add two new questions in IMathAS and
- copy the following code into the
- description,
- common control and
- question text
Click into the textarea below on this website and use Crtl-A and Ctrl-C on Linux or Windows PC resp. Cmd-A and Cmd-C on a Mac.
Paste the code into the common control textarea of your IMathAS installation with Crtl-V. - The code is divided into two questions, because it is too long for one question. The following background code is available as question 3502 and 4002 in the IWM iMathAS Installation. If you are able to use the IMathAS installation of IWM, it is necessary to copy & paste the following background code for the e-proof environment in one question (e.g. with quenstion ID 1000). The question ID cannot be selected by the IMathAS author. You can retrieve the quenstion-ID after "Save and Test Question" at the very end of browser window that was opened for testing.
- IMPORTANT: Replace 3502 and 4002 in your IMathAS environment by the question IDs you stored the background code in and edit the following lines in the common control content of question 2:
- $qid_import1 = 3502
- $qid_import2 = 4002
- $qid_import3 = 4200
- The last question ID contains a Step Randomizer and an ID Remapper so that proof Solutions cannot be copied by students easily.
- $qid_import1 = 3502
- to your question IDs. For example, if your first question ID of the backgroundcode is 38 and and the second question ID is 39 change the lines above to:
- $qid_import1 = 38
- $qid_import2 = 39
- IMPORTANT: ARarray(..)-Macro: The installation of the e-proof-environment depends on the availability of the ARarray-marco in IMathAS. Ask your IMathAS-administrator, if the marco is installed (see help-file "General Macros").
Set Question IDs in iMathAScreator
When you want to create a new e-Proof as Author, the Background Code (listed below) will be Imported by all new e-Proof Theorems. If you use as Author the iMathAScreator you can enter the question IDs in User Interface:
In general you will use a 3 standard questions IDs for importing the Background code in an e-Proof Theorem
