Remark: The tutorial on this page shows the Authoring Environment in iMathAS. As an
Alternative to Editing an e-Proof in iMathAS you can use the

Authoring Mode - Create new e-Proofs in iMathAS
The following steps create a Question for Authoring View . Authors use this question for creating NEW e-Proof-Theorem in IMathAS itself.
- Search for the string E-PROOF-BACKGROUND in all libraries of IMathAS. You will find an e-proof, if authors in your Installation of the IMathAS have already installed the background code of the e-proof environment and shared it with other authors. If you do not find the background code install the background code as two questions in IMathAS yourself.
- Authoring mode can be switched on and off by the setting $AuthoringMode=1 or AuthoringMode=0.
Question Type: Conditional
Common Control - Content - Authoring
Replace by the correct Question ID in includecodefrom(4001) and includecodefrom(4002)
At the end of the Common Control Content you will find an includecodefrom(4001) and an includecodefrom(4002) command. E.g. 38 and 39 are the correct question IDs of your background code of the e-Proof Environment replace the IDs to includecodefrom(38) includecodefrom(39), if your background code is stored in these questions (see last lines in Common Control). The question text is imported from your Background Code too, so change the line in the definition of the question text according to the first question ID in your iMathAS Installation. Replace includeqtextfrom(4001) e.g. by includeqtextfrom(38) .The background should be public for all authors in the iMathAS installation.

- An Authoring Question for E-PROOFS is used to create your own e-proofs in your IMathAS installation. Search for the string E-PROOF-AUTHORING in all libraries of IMathAS. use the provided IMathAS-Code to create your own e-proof environment in IMathAS by the authoring . You need only one public question of the background code of the e-proof environment. Tag the e-proofs with E-PROOF-BACKGROUND in the question description, so that other authors can find your e-proofs in the joint IMathAS repository of questions.
Description - Question:

and copy the ASCII-Math-source into the String Variables of the Common Control Content
